8/10/26 - Monday evening, crew members participated in several hours of hands-on training focused on vertical ventilation, rescue operations involving both adult and pediatric patients, and live fire evolutions.

We’d like to thank Blue Fire for providing us with another valuable opportunity to train and improve our skills!

We would like to extend a sincere thank you to the Alpha Fire Department and Lakefield Fire Department for their quick response and assistance with today’s structure fire. We greatly appreciate your support.

We would also like to thank the Jackson Ambulance Service for providing firefighter rehabilitation, helping ensure our crews stayed safe, hydrated, and ready to continue operations throughout the incident.

We are grateful for the teamwork and partnership that makes responses like this possible.

7/17/26 - Last night, North Memorial Health Air Care team landed their Life Flight Helicopter in the JCC High School parking lot to conduct a joint training with The Jackson Fire and Jackson Ambulance Service.

During this training, crews learned how to identify and establish a safe landing zone, safely approach the helicopter, properly load a patient, and coordinate with the flight crew during patient transfer. These hands-on experiences help ensure our responders are prepared to work together safely and efficiently when every second counts.
