Reminder, WYDOT Teton County will be working on the Snake River bridge, Monday - Wednesday this week.

WYDOT and contract crews will be installing thermoplastic markings on sections of Broadway Avenue, WYO 22 and Hoback Junction beginning the evening of Monday, June 8.

The work will be done during nighttime hours from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. and will be a stationary operation, so travelers will see minimal delays and should be of roadside workers and wet markings. Drivers may also encounter lane closures and potential detours. Crews will be working at various intersections on Broadway Avenue from High School Road up to the downtown area.

This project includes installing markings such as stop bars, pedestrian crosswalk markings, arrows and other intersection markings. WYDOT and contract crews will be striping lane lines and center lines on state highways in Teton County later this summer. The work is scheduled to last two weeks, but unpredictable weather and other variables could necessitate last-minute changes to the plans.

🚧 FAIRGROUNDS PARKING LOT NOTICE 🚧

Just a heads up—we'll be treating the fairgrounds parking lots for dust control on June 8 and June 11.

If possible, we'd really appreciate it if folks could avoid driving through the parking lots on those days. The magnesium chloride treatment does a great job of keeping dust down, but it can be tough on vehicles, and we'd rather help you avoid the mess and potential wear.

We're doing this work to improve conditions around the fairgrounds and appreciate everyone's patience and cooperation while we get it done.

Thanks for helping us keep the dust down and the fairgrounds looking their best! 🚜💨
