๐Ÿ’™ Help Us Fill the Memory Mile! ๐Ÿ’™

One of the most meaningful parts of the Adrenaline Race is our Memory Mile โ€” a special way to honor loved ones, celebrate memories, and recognize the people who have made a difference in our lives.

โœจ This year, we have NEW Memory Mile signs! โœจ

Weโ€™re inviting anyone in our community who would like to participate to stop by and fill out a sign between now and Race Day โ€” Sunday, September 20. Your sign will become part of the Memory Mile along the Adrenaline Race course. ๐Ÿ’™

๐Ÿ“ Elevate West Bend Office
1626 Clarence Ct., West Bend, WI

And if you canโ€™t make it in beforehand, you can also fill out a Memory Mile sign on the morning of the race at the Elevate Resource Table the morning of the race.

Whether youโ€™re honoring someone youโ€™ve lost, celebrating someone special, or simply want to recognize someone who has made an impact on your life, weโ€™d love for you to be part of the Memory Mile.

๐Ÿ’™ Your memory. Your message. Your mile.

Through the Volunteer Centerโ€™s July Tip Jar, our community raised $440 for Elevate Inc.โ€™s Family Support SUDAC program.

When substance use affects one person, it can affect an entire family. Family Support SUDAC helps families find understanding, resources, connection, and hope as they navigate these challenges.

Thank you to everyone who gave, and to the Volunteer Center for helping make community giving possible. Your generosity helps families know they are not alone. ๐Ÿ’š

Today is International Overdose Awareness Day. This is a time to remember those we have lost, support those who are grieving, and stand alongside individuals living with substance use disorders.

Substance use disorder can affect anyone, regardless of age, background, or circumstance. Stigma often prevents people from reaching out for help, but compassion can open the door to healing and recovery.

Today, you can make a difference by:
Learning the signs of an overdose.
Carrying Naloxone if it's available in your community.
Using person-first language.
Supporting someone in recovery.
Sharing trusted resources that connect people to help.

Every conversation rooted in understanding instead of judgment helps create stronger, healthier communities.

Recovery is possible. Hope is real. Every life matters.

Grief is something we all experience, yet many people feel they must carry it in silence. On National Grief Awareness Day, we recognize the many forms grief can take and encourage compassionate conversations about loss and healing.

If someone you know is grieving:
โ€ข Listen more than you speak
โ€ข Offer your presence instead of trying to fix the pain
โ€ข Check in weeks and months later
โ€ข Let them know they don't have to face grief alone

Healing doesn't follow a timeline, and neither should our support.

At Elevate, we believe that hope begins with compassion and connection.

๐Ÿ‚ THEREโ€™S A REASON WE MOVED THE ADRENALINE RACE TO SEPTEMBER. AND NOW ITโ€™S ALMOST TIME. ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Remember when the Adrenaline Race was held in July?

We made the move to September 20 for one big reason: a better race experience for YOU.

And now that race day is just around the corner, weโ€™re getting pretty excited about what September has to offer:

๐Ÿ‚ Cooler fall temperatures
๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ More comfortable running conditions
๐Ÿ’ช The perfect time to put all that summer training to work
๐ŸŽฏ A fresh challenge to finish the season strong
โค๏ธ And a chance to run for something bigger than yourself

Whether youโ€™ve been training all summer or youโ€™re just looking for a challenge to get you moving, thereโ€™s still a distance with your name on it.

๐Ÿ… 5K โ€” Start here. Finish strong.
๐Ÿ… 10K โ€” Ready to push yourself?
๐Ÿ… Half Marathon โ€” Make it a BIG goal.
๐Ÿ… Full Marathon โ€” Go all in.
๐ŸŽ’ Rucking โ€” Add some weight to the challenge.
