Registration is now open for the in-person and remote Produce Safety Alliance (PSA) Grower Trainings! These trainings provide a foundation of Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs) and FSMA Produce Safety Rule requirements, including information about the new FSMA Agricultural water rule.

Please note that the price has changed. The course fee for Michigan residents is $100, and the course fee for out-of-state residents is $170.

In-person trainings are coming up fast, so register soon at https://www.canr.msu.edu/agrifood_safety/psa-training.

All remote trainings will be held virtually over Zoom. Below are the available in-person training dates & locations:

Agrifood safety ensures to your buyers that you have thought about how your actions impact the safety of the food you grow. It consists of identifying on-farm food safety risks and developing a plan to in order to prevent foodborne illness outbreaks.

We are here to help fresh produce growers by providing educational resources and assistance on Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs) and Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) Produce Safety Rule requirements.
