Please join us on Wednesday November 11th at Withington Park, aka Veteran's Park on the west end of downtown Jackson. The event is a celebration of veterans and will start promptly at 11:00 am. We will announce the Veteran of the Year, the Veteran Organization of the Year and the present the Charlie Heim award. The weather will be great, at least they are not predicting snow.

The Jackson County Veteran's Council will meet on October 6, 2020 7:00pm at American Legion Post 29, 3200 Lansing Ave, Jackson. All veterans and veteran organizations are invited to join the meeting.

Friday September 18th is POW/MIA Recognition Day. VVA Chapter 109 of Jackson is holding vigil for those who have not been brought home. The vigil will begin at 3:00 pm of Friday and last 24 hours. It will be held on the chapter property at 235 W. Franklin St in Jackson. We will have a ceremony explaining the POW Table and then a dedication of the new property beginning at 6:00 pm Friday. Everyone is invited and encouraged to come.
