MCFD Rescue is a very aggressive and growing department seeking multiple full-time firefighters. Firefighters at MCFD respond to calls for service in firefighting, emergency medical response, rescue, confined space entry, and hazardous material response. Our department also has a Special Ops Division that responds to natural disasters and lost person searches over the Southeast. With the growing demands in Madison County and the calls of service requested from agencies across the Southeast we are looking to grow our department.

: Fire setting happens when children begin to experiment with fire using matches and lighters. Many fires happen when young children are left alone, even for a short period of time, with access to matches and lighters. Parents must have clear rules and consequences about fire misuse.

Today Station 12’s very own Daniel Beck was honored as the Department’s Firefighter of the Year and also thanks to Mayor Massey for his proclamation. Henceforth September 20th will be known as Daniel Beck Day! We are proud of everything he has done, he embodies everything we as a department strive to represent and is certainly the best of us!

Station 12 is very thankful for our county commissioners supporting us and Madison County Fire Department as a whole. They do a lot of work behind the scenes to make this county as great as it is. Thank you all very much and we wish you all a Safe and Merry Christmas!
