The Breathitt County Honey Festival has chosen Rose Bros. Department Store as the Grand Marshal of the 2026 Honey Festival Parade.
In honor of Rose Bros. Department Store’s 95th Anniversary, we are excited to have the Rose family leading the parade this year.

The city of Jackson was grateful to join Congressman Hal Rogers, USDA-RD State Director Travis Burton, and other leaders for the Eastern Kentucky Infrastructure Funding Announcements today. Jackson was awarded $10,900,000 for the additional funds needed to build a new wastewater treatment plant. This is a huge project that will have a positive impact on our community.
