What a beautiful and meaningful day in Columbus, Ohio as we celebrated the life and legacy of Dr. John M. Perkins.

There was so much love in the room. So many stories. So many friendships represented. We laughed, cried, reflected, worshipped, and honored a man who spent his life building bridges, loving people, and pointing us to Jesus.

A heartfelt thank you to Jim Swearingen, Harvey Hook, and the many faithful friends, leaders, volunteers, and partners whose love, hard work, and support helped make this memorial so beautiful and meaningful for our family and community.

Columbus has always held a special place in Daddy’s heart, and today was a beautiful reminder of that love.

I just arrived in Columbus, Ohio, and I’m asking for your prayers as we gather to celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. John M. Perkins. It’s always emotional for me to speak about my Daddy, but I’m grateful to honor his life with so many friends and family in this city he loved so much.

Today our Dream Big students are exploring Pike Place Market and soaking up every last moment of this incredible trip. What a week it has been. From Mariners and Storm games to college visits, new friendships, and unforgettable experiences, our students have been encouraged to dream bigger and believe God for more.

Our students had an unforgettable time cheering, laughing, and soaking in every moment from the VIP section. We are so thankful for God’s grace and for the incredible people He continues to place in our lives who make opportunities like this possible for our kids.
