The final day of the All Rise Summer Law Camp began with a robust conversation between the following members of the Warren County Bar Association and the campers:

Sen. Briggs Hopson
Asst. District Attorney Liem Walker
Youth Court Prosecutor Lane Campbell
Muncipal Judge Angela Carpenter
Attorney Tracie Herring
Attorney Jamita Gilleylen
Municipal Judge Penny Lawson
Attorney Ernesto Cruz

The weeklong camp concluded with a Mock Trial presentation by the students and an awards ceremony.

We are thankful to all who played a role in making the camp effective and successful. Camp counselors Mekhyia Smith and Breshanna McDowell did a great keeping the campers in order between activities. We wish them well as they prepare for their senior year of college.

Thank you to the parents and loved ones who entrusted their young ones to us this week.

Last, but not least, special gratitude is extended to court personnel Melanie Sanders and Lafreda Lee for all of the behind the scenes law camp work they did while still managing the Court's busy docket.

Camp is adjourned until next year!
