Lift Service and Fixed Route (Big Buses) running until 6pm

Please be advised some areas will not be serviced due to inclement weather.

The Jackson Transit Authority (JTA) will be operating on Thursday, January 29th.

For essential service only.

The lifts ONLY will be running from 6:00am – 6:00pm.

ALL Fixed Route Services (Big Buses) have been suspended until further notice.


The JTA business office will be closed.

Due to inclement weather conditions that has impacted the City of Jackson, The Jackson Transit Authority (JTA) will be closed on Monday, January 26th.

For the safety of our riders, operators, and staff, all transit services will suspend operation at that time.

An update will be forthcoming about Tuesday’s services depending on weather conditions.
