Join us in recognizing an outstanding new member of the Army National Guard who is already proving what dedication, discipline, and drive look like.
Madison Tucker who is currently attending Gautier High School, has built a reputation for pushing limits, setting goals, and showing up strong, both as a student and competitive powerlifter. Her commitment to excellence and resilience under pressure make her a perfect fit for the Guard, From rigorous athletic training to balancing academics, she represents the next generation of leaders who are motivated, focused, and ready to serve.
Madison enlisted as a 12N Horizontal Construction Engineer and will ship out for training in June. Inspired by her grandfather's service in the Army, she felt called to follow a similar path and serve her community and country. With guidance from her recruiter, Sergeant First Class Megan Morvant, she took the next step toward building a future defined by purpose and strength.
Her coach Matthew Jalufka describes her as a dedicated and driven athlete whose work ethic sets her apart, consistently pushing herself to improve and leading by example both in and out of the gym. Over the past two years, Madison has competed in powerlifting and recently showcased her abilities at the 2026 Mississippi High School Activities Association Powerlifting State Championships, where she placed 4th with a 265 lb squat, 110 lb bench press, and 300 lb deadlift.
We're proud to have her on the team and excited to see all she will accomplish in uniform and beyond.
Help us congratulate her on this next chapter!
