HOLIDAY ENFORCEMENT PERIOD

The CHP Amador Area will be conducting a Holiday Enforcement Period from Friday, May 22 through Monday, May 25, with a primary focus on occupant restraint violations.

Officers will be actively looking for drivers and passengers not properly restrained, including:
• Seat belt violations
• Child safety seat violations
• Children improperly secured in vehicles

Seat belts save lives and remain one of the simplest ways to reduce serious injuries during a crash.

Before heading out for the holiday weekend, make sure everyone in your vehicle is properly secured.

Drive safe and enjoy your holiday weekend.

We had a great time today at the Celebrate Our Children event in Sutter Creek.

A big thank you to our CHP Amador officers and Explorers who spent time with families in our community, talking with kids about bicycle safety, handing out stickers, and giving them a chance to check out a patrol vehicle up close.

Events like this are a great opportunity to connect with our community and help keep our kids safe.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made it a great day.
