Thursday April 16 , our department had the opportunity to participate in a Mock Crash at Edgewood High School. This powerful exercise is designed to give students a real-world look at the serious consequences of distracted and impaired driving.
While the scene may have appeared dramatic, the message behind it is very real. Every year, lives are changed in an instant due to preventable decisions made behind the wheel. By bringing this demonstration to students, we hope to leave a lasting impression that encourages them to make safe, responsible choices—especially as prom and graduation season approach.
We want to thank Edgewood High School, Butler County Sheriff's Office , St. Clair Township Fire Department, Trenton Fire Department, St. Clair Twp-New Miami EMS, Med Flight 8, and all the volunteers who helped make this event possible. Working together, we can help protect our community and save lives.
Remember: one decision can change everything. Stay focused, drive sober, and always look out for one another.

Yesterday evening Wayne Township Fire Department units responded to the 4300 block of Cotton Run Rd for a reported vehicle fire near a structure. While crews were en route, dispatch advised that the fire had extended to the structure.
Engine 121 upgraded the incident to a working structure fire and requested additional mutual aid from surrounding departments.
Upon arrival, crews found a large, single-story detached garage with smoke showing from the Delta side. Firefighters quickly deployed a hose line and initiated an aggressive fire attack. With assistance from mutual aid partners, crews achieved a rapid knockdown and successfully prevented further damage to the structure.
We would like to extend a sincere thank you to all of our mutual aid departments for their continued support—we truly appreciate your partnership every single day.
