UPDATE!! FOUR WHEELER HAS BEEN RECOVERED AND RETURNED TO THE OWNER!!!!

STOLEN FOUR WHEELER!!! HONDA FOURTRAX 300
On August 24, 2026 a report was taken in reference to a stolen Honda FOURTRAX 300 four wheeler.

It was taken sometime between 9pm and 11pm on Thursday August 20th from the side of Hwy 280 in the area between Davis Loop and Main St.

If anyone has information on who may have this four wheeler or where it is located please reach out to us.

The Town of Jackson's Gap has an opening for Part-Time Clerk's Assistant. This position will be assisting with receiving payments, processing paperwork for the court, and other court related clerical duties.
--20 hours a week (no holidays)

Jackson's Gap Police Department is looking for a Full -Time Police Officer (Certified), 40hrs a week with every other weekend off. Take home car within 25 mins of jurisdiction and all equipment issued by the town. We are a small agency with low call volume, low crime rate, low stress environment, and have a supportive Mayor and Town Council.

Salary is $24 an hour with a pay differential (retention pay) twice a year in June and December (equal to two weeks pay) yearly salary total is $53,760. We participate in RSA and offer a flexible schedule. No over night shifts, mostly 2p-12a or 12p-12a (four 10s one week 3 12s next week).
