With the climatological peak of hurricane season approaching in early September, NOAA’s prediction for below-normal activity in the Atlantic basin remains. The season still has a ways to go, however, and forecasters still expect up to two major hurricanes. It only takes one storm to cause serious damage, so it’s important to be prepared!
