Thank you to the Jacksonville Educators Association and Jacksonville School Dist 117. We are honored to serve alongside such a great community of educators. It is our privilege to help provide for our community’s greatest asset, the youth of our community.

Big shoutout to Dave Turner for all he does to organize and prepare for our weekend meals program. And of course a huge thank you to all of our volunteers who help pack and deliver these meals.

No better place to live and serve than The City of Jacksonville, Illinois.

We are excited about these updates and proud to partner in working with the unhoused in Jacksonville.

Unhoused Steering Committee Update (Week of 7/20/2026)

We are excited to share that our first Street Outreach Team has completed training and will begin outreach efforts on Tuesday.

Volunteers are being trained in Homeless De-Escalation, Understanding Homelessness, Mental Health and Substance Use Awareness, and Building Trusting Relationships with Individuals Experiencing Homelessness.

The goal of this outreach effort is to better understand the scale of homelessness in our community and learn more about the challenges individuals experiencing homelessness are facing. This information will help guide future community planning, services, and collaborative efforts.

There is still time to get involved! We are continuing to recruit compassionate community members to join the Street Outreach Team. Interested individuals can apply here:
