is a non-profit organization that is committed to empowering and ensuring the well-being of marginalized young adults at-risk to homelessness through wrap-around supportive services. In order for us to make a change, it is important to take proactive steps and support our teens. Research tells us that there is a connection with justice-involved youth and it's impact on adulthood which increases th

e chances of experiencing homelessness. Also, there is data explaining that most juvenile correctional agencies lack the partnerships needed to help incarcerated youth overcome barriers to obtaining viable employment in the community. Furthermore, data states that most youth entering juvenile detention have been disadvantaged by poverty and lack of resources, and more than 70% have mental health disorders. Currently, we offer two programs in the juvenile detention center that meets the social, emotional, and advancement needs of youth. Our tentative programs includes a community reengagement/drop-in center and transitional housing for young adults at-risk to homelessness.

Cooking Up Success Recap!🍝

We had a great time in our youth cooking class! Our young chefs prepared their own dinner, explored different spices, and learned how to reduce salt for healthier choices.

It was more than just cooking…it was laughter, conversation, education, hands-on learning, and building life skills that support their overall well-being.

Our first Workforce Readiness Cohort Graduation Day inside the Juvenile Detention Center was amazing. We invited 2 community volunteers to share their trade journeys based on the youth’s expressed interest, for real-life conversations between men about work, choices, setbacks, and purpose.

It truly takes a community to make this happen! 💚
