Calling all artists 📢 The eARTh Inspired Gallery & Resource Cafe is coming up from October 5th to the 9th and they are looking for submissions that focus on sustainability, stewardship, water, & nature. All creative interpretations are welcome in any medium such as film, painting, photography, written poetry, sculpture, clothing, and video art. This can be work created just for this event or pieces already in your portfolio. The exhibition is open to local artists in Jacksonville and the surrounding areas with preference given to those living within the City of Jacksonville.

This weeklong pop-up event features environmental art, exhibits, and resources highlighting ways to get involved in local environmental stewardship, sustainability, and resilience efforts.

Presented by the City of Jacksonville Office of Sustainability, St. Johns Riverkeeper, and the Jacksonville Climate Coalition in partnership with The Jessie and the VoLo Foundation, the deadline for submissions is Thursday, October 1st. Minor tidal flooding will continue around times of high tide along the Atlantic Coast in northeast Florida, and within portions of the St. Johns River Basin through Tuesday evening.

After tonight's high tide, minor flooding within the St. Johns River will be limited to Duval county.

There is still time for submissions to our “Manatee Tank: Youth Pitch Competition for Sustainability” is today, September 28th at 11:59pm.
