NOISE ALERT: There will be a noise alert for Camp Robinson today, Monday, August 31, due to scheduled training.

Noise Alert:
Expect to hear loud booms associated with training Monday, Aug. 31, 2026.
The noise and associated sounds are likely to carry outside Camp Robinson’s perimeter and may potentially cause concern in the communities and surrounding areas beyond the borders of the post.
We understand that some aspects of ongoing military training creates disruptive noise and ground vibration concerns. And, as a concerned partner, we endeavor to keep our neighbors near the post informed when such external effects can be expected.
Through our training, and the continued support of our communities, the Arkansas National Guard and our co-located sister service organizations can continue to make positive contributions to the safety and security of our State and Nation.

This week’s Throwback Thursday is all about our amazing School Resource Officers. They kept our schools safe and made a lasting impact throughout our community. Looking back at their accomplishments reminds us just how much heart, dedication, and leadership they brought to the department.

On August 23, 2026, officers responded to a burglary at a gas station where v**e products and other items were reported missing. Security footage showed multiple overnight entries after an employee accidentally left the door unlocked. Three juveniles—ages 14, 15, and 15—entered first without taking anything. Later they returned and stole v**e products. They continued entering the store throughout the night, taking more merchandise.

Officers identified and detained the three juveniles at a residence, where a search warrant led to the recovery of stolen v**e products and clothing seen in the footage. One juvenile admitted involvement, another confirmed multiple entries, and one declined to provide a statement. All three juveniles were charged with commercial burglary and given a court date of August 24, 2026.
