4-H opens the door for youth to learn leadership skills and explore ways to give back. 4-H revolutionizes how youth connect to practical, hands-on learning experiences while outside of the classroom.
Through 4-H, more than 1900 young people in Onslow County learn new skills and serve their communities each year. 4-H offers clubs, special interest programs, summer camps, school enrichment, mentors program, after-school and child care training workshops. Guided by North Carolina Cooperative Extension educators and adult and teen volunteers, 4-H'ers gain knowledge, skills and experience that help them become responsible citizens and leaders.
Mission: 4-H Pledge: I pledge ... my HEAD to clearer thinking, my HEART to greater loyalty, my HANDS to larger service and my HEALTH to better living, for my club, my community, my country, and my world. Motto: To make the best BETTER.
WE WISH EVERYONE A SAFE AND HAPPY THANKSGIVING! 😃
