PEERS PLUS

Founded in 1977, PEERS offers Parenting Education, free diapers/wipes in partnership with BCBS FEP & the Diaper Bank of NC, and outreach services.

As a nonprofit, we rely on grants and fundraising events throughout the year to support these programs.

Our office manager, Mandy, and our intern, Sarah, had a great time attending the Onslow County Community Services Day hosted by One Place!

They connected with so many of Onslow County’s amazing community partners, sharing ideas and resources that strengthen the work we all do. We’re especially proud of Sarah for presenting about our programming—fantastic job!

Thank you to One Place for hosting such a meaningful and well-organized event. We’re already looking forward to next year!

The incredible ladies of PEERS Plus placed pinwheels along our sidewalk as a powerful reminder of the importance of protecting and supporting children in our community. Each pinwheel represents hope, awareness, and the commitment we all share to create safe, happy childhoods.

Thank you for donating to our food pantry! PEERS Plus food pantry is a no paperwork no questions asked help your self service. Take what you need leave what you can. When Eastern Carolina Wrestling Academy heard the food pantry was empty they sprang into action collecting donations. ECWA is also a non profit here in Onslow County. They coach athletes in wrestling and travel all over the US competing with and against the best. They focus on the athlete as a whole so each coach is invested in the athletes complete wellbeing on and off the mat. It takes a village to survive in today’s world and we are excited and honored to partner with ECWA!
