For Clarity: Yes, I made the mistake of stating Alabama kicks off at Noon. Apologies. That is Noon Eastern Time. Game starts at 11:00 A.M. Central Time. Don't let that deter you from getting into your vehicles and coming up though. Legion still opens at 12:00. Wings at 1:00! There will be enough to feed a small Army! Other games will be on too! We spend money on these events! Come hang!

Reminder that tomorrow, Saturday August 29, the Post will open at 12:00 PM and a Celebration of Life for Carl J. Hays III will begin at 1:00 PM.
Carl served American Legion Post 57 in multiple capacities for many years to include as the Post Commander from 2006-2017. He was the current Sons of the American Legion Squadron Commander.
Please come join the family for fellowship and tell your best memory of Carl.

There will be a graveside service for Carl J. Hays III on Friday August 21 at 1000 hours at the Forestlawn Gardens Cemetery 730 Golden Springs Road Anniston, AL. The family respectfully requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the American Legion Post 57 Scholarship Fund PO Box 592 Jacksonville, AL 36265

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Saturday August 29 at American Legion Post 57, 1511 Pelham Rd. S Jacksonville, AL 36265 with the Post opening at 12:00 pm and the event from 1:00 – 5:00 pm. There will be a slideshow, food and comments presented at 1:00 pm.
