For years, Five STAR Veterans Center has helped homeless and at-risk veterans in Jacksonville find housing, stability, and a path forward — thanks to neighbors like you. 🇺🇸
Today, we need your help. We’re facing a serious financial challenge, and we want to be clear about what it is — and what it isn’t. This is NOT the result of debt or mismanagement. It’s a timing gap: much of our funding arrives as reimbursement, paid only AFTER we’ve delivered services, while the cost of caring for our veterans comes due every single day.

Get ready for a day of community spirit and celebration as we host our Pre-4th of July Benefit Concert and BBQ! This year, we are thrilled to combine the festivities with our Community Luncheon, creating a unique opportunity to connect, dine, and give back all in one afternoon.

This event is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together, enjoy some delicious food, and show our heartfelt appreciation for the veterans who have served our country. On this Memorial Day, we paused to hold space for the profound courage and ultimate sacrifices made by the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces who gave their lives in service to our nation.

As we do every year, we gathered at the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Wall to pay our respects, standing among the granite tributes that bear the names of those who never returned home. Amidst the quiet solemnity of the ceremony, we were reminded that while those names are etched in stone, their legacies are etched in the heart of a grateful country, ensuring that their bravery is never forgotten.
