Shout out to the White Oak High School Girls Track and Field Team and their representation at the 6A State Track and Field Meet in Greensboro on Saturday.

Ava Spreder broke the school record in the 400m running a 58.13. She placed 7 overall.

Elena McCormick got 5th in Pole Vault clearing 9ft.

Issy Maxwell ran a 12:20 3200M run.

4x2 Relay team ran a PR of 1:45.89 which was 3 seconds faster than they previously ran. The team consisting of Kaiya Maison, Ava Spreder, Ke’ Andria Wright, Joneisha Eberhardt.

We Have A 2026 6A State High Jump Champion!! Romeloh Myers at 6’6 High Jump takes home the medal.

A big shoutout is extended to our track and field athletes that competed at the 6A State Track and Field Meet in Greensboro on Saturday. Other noteworthy accomplishments include the 4x8 relay consisting of Devin Streeter, Jake Hallet, Francisco Herrera and Matthew Earle placed 8th overall. Keyon’Dre Wright placed 7th in the 100 M dash and Edrick Pineda placed 9th overall in the Long Jump.

Congratulations to our Varsity Girls Soccer team as they move to round 3 playoffs. They travel on Monday and compete at 6pm at J.H. Rose in Greenville.

Their 14-9-2 season has been competitive and challenging, and they have played with VIKING heart 💚💛 all the way. This is the first time the Varsity girls soccer have competed and moved this far in the playoffs since Spring 2019.

Way to go Ladies, Coach Larose and Coach Block.
