Onslow County Parks & Recreation and Senior Services would like to present Fitness Week in the Park. It will be a week filled with different fitness activities that includes: aerobics, STIX fitness, and seated chair exercises. Make sure you sign up quick because there are 18 slots available for each week of activities. All needed equipment is available to borrow BUT participants are encouraged to bring their own if they have them) ALL participants should bring water and wear appropriate fitness attire and shoes.

July is Parks and Recreation month and the National Recreation and Park Association's theme for this year is “We are Parks and Recreation”. We are going to showcase and celebrate the individuals in our community that utilize our facilities, work at our facilities and support parks and recreation as a vital part of the community.

If you still want to participate, you can either comment on this post or make your own post expressing why you enjoy parks & recreation with the hashtags #OCPR and #WeAreParksAndRec. With your participation, we will enter you into raffle for a camping pack. The last day to enter the raffle is July 30th and we will be doing the drawing on July 31st @ 1:00PM. We want to give everyone the opportunity to be able to express to us why they love parks and recreation.

When does youth softball registration begin?
Wednesdays Dance2Fit class will be underneath the pavilion near the playground equipment at the front of the park. Saturday will be in the Meeting Room across from the baseball diamonds. Diamonds are on the left and Meeting Room building is blue on the right. See you there!!!!!
