At the Candidate Forum last week, Dylan R., a student moderator, gave an impassioned speech about adults voting for the students. Most school board decisions affect students, but most students are not old enough to vote. Students care about their education. I want to also shout out another HUGE group of people who care about education, parents and teachers. Every single one of the 30+ volunteers that showed up last weekend are parents, teachers or both! There were quite a few students as well. Thank-you for showing up and putting in the work for all of the students in Duval County! EARLY VOTING STARTS THIS FRIDAY, August 7th!! It runs daily from August 7th through August 16th from 10 am until 6 pm daily. VOTE Donna Mae Westrich for Duval County School Board, District 2!! Thank-you for your continued support! We can do this together!
