There are two more weeks left for our Bookmark Design Contest! You can pick up a form at the front desk of the Village Library in Jacobus, PA. The contest runs from May 15, 2026 to June 15, 2026. Winners will be chosen by community vote!

On July 4, 2026, America will commemorate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. To celebrate, the Village Library is having a bookmark contest! Come hear the story of a young boy's first experience with making an enemy. Fortunately for him, his father knows a secret recipe for a pie that is guaranteed to "get rid" of enemies. Enemy Pie is sure to start your mouth watering and your mind thinking about how a simple pie can turn your enemies into friends.

Unearth A Craft Wednesdays will run from June 10th to July 29th.

Come join us each Wednesday morning at 11:30 as we dabble into the magical world of art and science with STEAM! STEAM is a combination of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math. Throughout the summer, participants will be encouraged to complete crafts with dinosaur themed scientific additions. All children will be given the option to complete a regular story time craft that aligns with our dinosaur of the week.

Pre-registration is helpful; participants may come to any or all weeks.

York County Libraries recognizes the courage, sacrifice, and enduring legacy of the men and women who gave their lives in service to their country. Libraries will reopen on Tuesday, May 26th following their regular operating hours.
