Roundabout and Bridge
BUR completed installation of the water main on Stratton Road and passed pressure testing Thursday morning. Stratton Road should be open normally Friday.

BUR moved their operation to Blake St. and will spend the remainder of this week and likely all of next installing water main there. They are also planning to have a second crew operating at the end of next week on River St. at the corner of Rt. 124 to install a large drainage structure and then complete some additional drainage crossings.

And thank you for your patience as the Peterborough Street Sidewalks are constructed.

Traffic Update - Alert!
Stratton Road will be subject to a closure due to water mains work. This will be a closure from this Thursday 5/28 through 6/12 (tentatively). Since the location of the new water main is on the centerline of the roadway, it would be especially difficult to maintain one way traffic safely. The closure will only be during work hours (7 am to 6 pm usually) and property and sidewalk access during the closure will be maintained. The full scale closure for drainage, sidewalk, and roadway reconstruction will still occur later this summer.

Message boards will be updated by the end of the day today. The road won't be closed until Thursday.

As usual please share - thank you
