Our Story
Each year Turtle Rescue of the Hamptons, Inc.(TRH) treats more than 200 injured native turtles (some considered endangered in New York State) in its infirmary in Jamesport, NY, on Long Island’s East End. TRH provides continual care to turtles who are recovering and will be eventually released back into the wild, and provides refuge and care for our wild, native friends that are too injured or pet turtles who have been abandoned by owners, so that they may live out their days in dignity and free from pain. Operating since 2012, TRH is a registered 501 (c)(3) charity and exists solely because of charitable contributions. Won’t you be a friend to native, wild turtles and support TRH?
