📚 Two new Little Free Libraries have found a home at M.J. Fletcher and C.C. Ring elementary schools thanks to the generosity of Eagle Scout candidate Charlie Vogt of Boy Scouts Troop #126!

Charlie built and donated the libraries as part of his Eagle Scout project, helping make books more accessible to students and families. The libraries are now stocked and ready for readers to borrow, share, and enjoy.

Thank you, Charlie, for supporting literacy and helping inspire a love of reading beyond the classroom! ❤️📖

🎥 WATCH: Three Jamestown High School students recently traveled to Albany to attend the My Brother's Keeper Symposium alongside social studies teacher Christopher Robert and JHS coach and home-school liaison Arrick Davis, where they participated in workshops focused on leadership, mentorship, financial literacy, and personal growth.

The experience provided students with valuable opportunities to learn from peers and mentors from across New York State while building skills that will help them succeed in school, their careers, and their communities.

🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ Congratulations to the Persell Middle School Track & Field team on an outstanding season! The Knights wrapped up a successful year with several athletes earning top finishes at the CCAA Championships:

🥇 Dominiq Atkinson — 1st place 55m hurdles, 1st place 100m, 2nd place 4x100 relay, and a Top 6 finish in high jump
🥈 John Schnars — 2nd place 1500m and 2nd place 4x100 relay
🏅 Camdyn Yates — 6th place in both the 1500m and 800m
🥈 Jean Jimenez Guillen — Helped lead the 4x100 relay team to a 2nd-place finish
🥇 Jazlyn Robinson — 1st place 400m
🥈 Lauren Engquist — 2nd place 800m

We are proud of all of our student-athletes for their hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship throughout the season. Great job, Knights! 💙⚔️

Walk, run, connect, and explore local opportunities at the Jamestown-Falconer Health Connection! Open to all ages, free refreshments, volunteer hours for students, and a Health, Wellness & Career Fair at JCC. Register today! 👟🎉

Choose from two approximately 1.75-mile walk/run routes starting from either Jamestown High School or Falconer High School at 3:45 PM. Both routes will finish at Jamestown Community College, where participants can enjoy:

✅ Free snacks and refreshments
✅ Community speakers
✅ A Health, Wellness & Career Fair
✅ Volunteer hour opportunities for students
✅ Connections with local organizations and resources

Meet community partners including Chautauqua Striders, Chautauqua Health Network, YWCA Works, JCC Occupational Therapy Program, Jamestown Tarp Skunks, and more!

This event supports the City of Jamestown's Safe Streets For All initiative and promotes healthy, active, and connected communities.
