This Memorial Day, the Fentress County Fire Department pauses to honor and remember the brave men and women of our Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Their courage, dedication, and selfless service gave us the freedoms we enjoy each and every day.

Today, we remember those heroes and the families who continue to carry their legacy forward. May we never forget the cost of freedom and the sacrifices made by so many.

As firefighters, we understand service and sacrifice, and today we stand united in honoring those who gave everything for our freedom.โ€

From all of us at the Fentress County Fire Department, thank you to all who have served and especially to those who never made it home.
