Grant Opportunity! Community-based groups, municipalities, businesses, partnerships, and non-profit organizations are encouraged to apply for ReUse projects such as repair café’s and tool libraries.

Each year, NYSAR3’s Community Reuse Grants, in partnership with the Center for Sustainable Materials Management (CSMM), are offered to support community-based groups, municipalities, businesses, and non-profit organizations in New York State implement reuse initiatives in their communities.

🎨 New public art is coming to Water Street in Fredonia!

Local artist Erin Ruffino will begin installing artwork for Chautauqua County’s Water Street tactical bump-out pilot project Aug. 21–24 near 21 Water Street.

The project combines pedestrian safety, public art and creative placemaking to improve visibility at the crosswalk, encourage slower traffic and create a more welcoming streetscape.

🚶‍♀️ Please use caution near the project area while installation is underway.

Modifications for 10 are now being accepted. District 10 includes the Towns of Arkwright, Charlotte, Cherry Creek, Ellington, Gerry, and Villenova. Landowners can request to add or remove parcels. For more info: bit.ly/CHQagdistrict
