🚦 Traffic Signal at U.S. 127 & Fruit of the Loom Drive to Enter Flash Mode Beginning Feb. 13 🚦

Beginning Friday, Feb. 13, the traffic signal at the intersection of U.S. 127 and Fruit of the Loom Drive in Jamestown will be placed into flash mode for a 90-day evaluation period.

During this time:
➡️ Stop signs will be installed on Fruit of the Loom Drive and Herriford Curve Road.
➡️ Motorists on those side streets must stop before entering U.S. 127.
➡️ U.S. 127 traffic will operate as a continuous through movement.
➡️ Drivers turning left from U.S. 127 onto side streets must yield to oncoming traffic.

⚠️ Please use caution as drivers adjust to the new traffic pattern.

A previous traffic study showed declining traffic volumes at this location, falling below federal thresholds that typically warrant a signal. While the signal operates in flash mode, KYTC will conduct an additional study to observe traffic flow under stop-controlled conditions.

💬 We want your input.
Comments may be submitted to [email protected] through close of business on May 15.

Your feedback will help guide the final decision.
