📚✨ It’s Give Like Dolly Day! ✨📚

Today, we’re celebrating the power of Dolly Parton's Imagination Library and the incredible gift of books!

Through Imagination Library, over 90% of children (up to age 5) in our community receive a free, high-quality book every month—building home libraries, encouraging a love of reading, and helping little imaginations grow. ❤️

This 9/25 Day, help us celebrate the people who make this program possible and spread the word about the difference a book can make in a child’s life.

Every child deserves a book to call their own. 📖💙

Give Like Dolly Day is on September 25 and no one can do it like Kentucky!

Dolly Parton believed in giving back and helping children dream bigger - and this year, we're celebrating her spirit through Give Like Dolly Day.

Local program partners across Kentucky put wings on Dolly's dream, but they need your support to keep books coming to mailboxes across the Commonwealth.

Learn more about the Imagination Library of Kentucky here, and mark your calendars for 9/25!

Several members of our Teen Advisory Board wrapped up tonight's meeting and headed straight over to The Green to explore the new Woodland Farm Foundation Sensory Playspace.

They played the outdoor chimes, took on the log bridge, and claimed the big blue turf hill as the best seat in the house.

Thanks, TAB, for giving your time and ideas to the library every month!

Interested in joining Teen Advisory Board? Stop by the library or give us a call to learn more.

A little bit of Middle-earth made its way to RCPL yesterday!

Our crafters created their own Hobbit-inspired door wreaths, bringing plenty of creativity and cozy, whimsical details to life. We loved seeing everyone’s unique creations!

Thanks to everyone who joined us for an afternoon of crafting!

A few of our favorite moments from opening weekend at The Green.

Scroll through and see if you can find yourself. If you do, tag yourself and your crew!

The Green is open every day. Bring a picnic, walk the trail, and let the kids explore the sensory playspace. We'll see you out there.
