On Thursday, May 7, CHH is hosting a National Day of Prayer event in the Gateway Center parking lot at 31 Water St. in Jamestown. It is a drop-in event from 11:30 AM to 1 PM. We have five interactive and personal prayer stations and several pastors available. St. Susan's is providing a free hotdog lunch. Everyone is welcome to stop in for the full 90 minutes or just a short period of time. Area pastors are working with us to plan and carry out the event. We hope to see you there.

Community Helping Hands (CHH) will be pausing their thrift store operations. This means that donations of clothing, furniture and household goods are not being accepted.

March 20 will be the last day to shop in the thrift stores. Only clients who already have appointments prior to March 20 will be served. During this pause in CHH thrift store operations, the Mental Health Association (MHA) and St. Susan’s Soup Kitchen will continue their operations in the Gateway Center without disruption.

Hey Friends of CHH, we're super excited to announce our participation in Give Big CHQ, the annual event that's all about giving back. On the downside, our small staff and time constraints mean we can't organize a large-scale fundraiser for the Gateway Center. We will be closed today, Wednesday January 22nd 2025 due to weather. We will call to reschedule all appointments, deliveries, and donation pick ups our following business day. For future reference we will be closed anytime JPS are closed due to weather. Please stay home and be safe outside if you have to leave.

Hello dear friends and supporters! We want to inform you that we will be closed from November 26th through November 29th. This closure includes all appointments, drop-offs, and shopping. We believe in the importance of giving our volunteers a well-deserved break and the chance to relax and enjoy some quality time with their families during Thanksgiving. We deeply appreciate your understanding and support for our dedicated volunteers. Thank you for being a part of our community and for standing by us through thick and thin.
