Here at WILD Creatures we offer educational presentations for birthday parties, school events, libraries, shop picnics, nature centers and any other event you can think of! With the help of our animal ambassadors we hope to educate the public about conservation as well as proper pet ownership. We also lead nature walks open to the public or you can contact us to setup a private walk for just you and your party!

Last Sunday we received a call about a mother opossum that was fatally struck by a car. There were several babies still clinging to their lifeless mother. The good people that contacted us had gathered six babies by the time we arrived. I checked the pouch for remaining babies, but unfortunately two had died. As I was getting ready to take the little ones to my house I decided to look around the street and curb areas just to make sure I wasn't leaving any babies behind. And just as I was getting ready to leave I saw one more baby that was in rough shape. So with a total of 7 babies I made my way home until we could get them to our friends over at TSE Wildlife Center later that day!

I'm happy to say that all of the babies are doing great and eating on their own! Follow TSE Wildlife Center for updates on our opossum friends as well as other wildlife under their care!🐿️🐢🐰🐭

With all of the rain we've been having lately our outdoor turtle tubs were almost overflowing! So today with the help of our newer permanent animal ambassador we had to drain some water out! 💦

This large Common Snapping Turtle was someone's long-term captive pet up in the Buffalo area. These awesome turtles are NYS native species and are illegal to own without proper reasoning and permits. Now she will live out her life with us and the rest of our permanent animal residents!!🐢

We had a good night out this past Wednesday! So many amphibians were on the move! We saw dozens of Spotted Salamanders, Spring Peepers, Green Frogs and a few Redback Salamanders!
