🎶 Our Scholars at Lincoln Elementary School received a special visit from the Persell Middle School Band!

Under the direction of Marc Lentsch, many of the student musicians returned to their elementary school roots to perform several selections for Lincoln students. The performance showcased the hard work and talent of our young musicians while giving Lincoln students a glimpse of the exciting opportunities that await them in middle school music programs.

Thank you to Mr. Lentsch and our Persell band members for sharing your talents and inspiring the next generation of musicians! 🎵

📸 ICYMI: Jamestown Public Schools officially broke ground on Phase A of its $123 million Capital Improvements Project last week.

This summer, major improvements will take place at Persell Middle School, Lincoln Elementary School, and the Allen Street bus garage, including roof replacements, upgraded lighting, enhanced security features, accessibility improvements, renovated student spaces, and critical infrastructure upgrades.

Future phases will bring improvements to Jefferson and Washington middle schools, while construction from the final phase of construction also continues at Jamestown High School on the old gymnasium, kitchen, and auditorium as part of the district's 2021 Capital Project.

From football and basketball to speed and agility training, there are great opportunities for students to stay active, build skills, and have fun this summer with our Red & Green coaching staff and student-athletes!

Upcoming camps include:
⚡ Speed Development Camp — June 29-July 2 | 9 to 10:30 a.m.
🏈 Jamestown Area Youth Football Camp — June 29-July 2 | 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
🏀 Little Ballers Camp (Grades 1-4) — July 6-9 | 9 to 11:30 a.m.
⛹️ Offensive Skills Basketball Camp for Boys (Grades 5-8) — July 6-9 | 9 to 11:30 a.m.
