📣ROI Jamestown is now live!📣

Applications will be accepted Thursday, August 27, 2026, through Wednesday, September 30, 2026.

Formerly known as the Restore, Adapt, Develop Jamestown (RAD) Grant Program, the initiative has been rebranded as ROI Jamestown to better reflect the City’s focus on strategic reinvestment, economic opportunity and measurable community impact.

Made possible through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding, ROI Jamestown provides financial assistance to eligible commercial property owners and business tenants for improvements to their facilities and operations. The program is designed to encourage private investment, support small businesses and entrepreneurship, strengthen commercial properties, and sustain and create jobs within the city.

Applications are available through the Department of Development, and through the City of Jamestown's website.

📣 BIG IDEAS WANTED FOR DOWNTOWN JAMESTOWN!

The Jamestown Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) Open Call for Projects is officially OPEN!

Do you have a transformational project that could help bring new energy, investment, activity, or opportunity to Downtown Jamestown? Now is the time to bring that idea forward.

The DRI Local Planning Committee is seeking projects for consideration that are:

🏗️ Transformational – Projects that can make a meaningful, visible impact on downtown
📋 Well-developed – Projects with a clear vision, scope, and path forward
🚀 Ready to move – Projects that can break ground within two years or sooner
🏙️ Downtown-focused – Projects that support the continued revitalization of Jamestown’s downtown core

Selected projects may be recommended to New York State for funding through Jamestown’s $10 million Downtown Revitalization Initiative award.

This is an opportunity for property owners, businesses, developers, nonprofits, organizations, and community partners to help shape the next chapter of Downtown Jamestown.

📅 The second meeting of the Jamestown Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) Local Planning Committee (LPC) will take place on Wednesday, August 26, from 1:00–2:30 PM at the Robert H. Jackson Center. 📍

📝 This will be a working meeting of the LPC, but members of the public are welcome to attend! There will also be an opportunity to provide comments at the end of the meeting. 💬

The Jamestown DRI public survey is now open! But what exactly is the DRI?

The Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) is a New York State program that provides funding to help communities invest in and revitalize their downtowns. Jamestown was selected as a Round 9 DRI community and will receive $9.7 million in DRI funding. This funding will support projects identified through the DRI planning process and Strategic Investment Plan.

📝 Now is your opportunity to help shape that plan! Tell us what you would like to see in downtown Jamestown, what you think should be a priority, and what could make downtown an even better place to live, work, visit, and enjoy.
