Welcome home, Chanse Killy! Chanse is one of our upcoming graduating seniors at NERSBA Early College. He enlisted in the Army National Guard last October and just returned home from Basic Training in Fort Leonardwood, Missouri. .Chanse, we are so proud of you and thankful for your service!

Dear Families,

This past week was a busy week: UMO classes began, scholars took school pictures, we had our first FFA meeting of the school year, and we had our first virtual instruction day. I commend scholars and staff on a successful week!

This week is the midpoint of our first quarter of instruction. Scholar progress reports will be sent home on Friday, September 4th. Please ask your child about his or her progress report.

Good Evening NERSBA Families:

Tomorrow, Monday, August 24th, is the first day of class for our scholars enrolled in courses with the University of Mount Olive.

Meal service for breakfast and lunch will begin tomorrow. Scholars may sign up for breakfast and lunch during their first-period class.

Scholars brought home a reminder of photographs. School photos for grades 9 - 12 will be taken this Wednesday, August 26th.

Our first NERSBA FFA meeting will be held during Flex period this Thursday, August 27th. Scholars should wear business casual attire for this meeting.

Friday, August 28, 2026, is our first Virtual Instruction Event. Scholars will not report to campus on Friday, August 28th, but they will be required to attend virtual instruction classes as directed by their teachers. The schedule for the virtual instruction sessions is included in this message.
