What started as a new match in the winter has grown into something pretty special... 🌱

Just over half a year ago, Big Brother Jared and Little Brother Wayne were matched and were beginning to get to know one another. Since then, they've bonded over their love of games and learning, and there's no doubt this match is truly thriving! 😁 🙌

It’s wonderful to see how just a few hours together each month can grow into a connection, a trusted relationship, and an impact that can last a lifetime.

The pair met in December 2024 and instantly hit it off!

Big Brother James has been an inspiring mentor to Little Lincoln. In addition to being a Special Education Teacher, he's a Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleader! 🏈 💚

From cheering at the Super Bowl 🏆 to the FIFA World Cup ⚽, James has shown his Little Brother that with hard work, dedication, and a positive spirit, dreams really do come true! ✨

Christina, BBBSBC’s Director of Programs! 💚✨

This month marks Christina’s 4-year anniversary with our organization. Everyone say, “Congrats, Christina!” and show her some love in the comments! 🥳🎉

Christina came to BBBSBC with a strong background serving youth mentoring programs in Philadelphia and surrounding counties.

She has long believed in the ripple effect mentoring can have:

“Mentoring really is an exceptionally beneficial experience. It not only helps the child; it benefits the family, school systems, and the greater county and community as a whole.”

Our matches recently hit the road to the Philadelphia Phillies game for an unforgettable night at the ballpark. 🧢
