Today was my last day at Adoption Avenues after ten years. It’s hard to put into words what this place has meant to me, but I’m proud of the work I’ve done and thankful for the people I’ve worked alongside.

Thank you to the families who trusted me with such an important part of your lives, and for letting me be part of your adoption stories. It’s been an incredible honor.

Meet Troy and Wallace, our newest waiting family! Please contact us to see their full profile.

We are Wallace and Troy! We live in the beautiful country side of Southern, WI with our two dogs Bennie and Karben, along with our chickens. We have been together for 13 years and married for 2 years. We enjoy being outdoors, camping, fishing, hiking, and ATV riding. Wallace is a Systems Engineer and Troy is a retail Store Leader. In the evening we enjoy soaking up the sun while sitting on our deck to watch the sunset and listen to the nature that surrounds us. We are both scuba diver certified and love traveling the world. We cannot wait to have your child be a part of our journeys exploring this beautiful planet.

Meet Melinda and Scott--our newest waiting family.

We are Melinda and Scott, and we are deeply grateful for you taking the time to learn more about us. We are filled with hope and excitement at the possibility of starting our family, a dream we have cherished for many years. Our journey has been marked by trials and tribulations, but it has only strengthened our desire to start a family and our love for each other.

We have been married since 2017 and together since 2012. Our story began online, where we found an unexpected connection. Despite our differences, we continue to discover new things about each other every day. Both of us were born and raised in Southern Wisconsin, where our schools were rivals, but our towns shared many similarities. We both have strong family ties and are always there to support our loved ones. We cherish holiday gatherings with both sides of our families and truly enjoy the warmth and joy these moments bring.

Traveling is one of our greatest passions, and we are excited with the opportunity to share our adventures with our child. Our favorite destinations are Minocqua, Wisconsin, and San Diego, California. These places, though different, offer us the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. Northern Wisconsin allows us to slow down and appreciate the simple joys of life, while California’s sunshine and palm trees provide endless opportunities for exploration and fun.

Melinda works for a local community bank in an officer role and Scott is a Business Analyst for a global company at their local automotive testing facility. We both have been blessed with careers that provide flexible work schedules and employers who promote work/life balance. When we are not working, we love spending time together on mini adventures, working on home projects, and enjoying the company of our beloved pets.

Building our home in 2020, right in the midst of the pandemic, was a challenging yet rewarding experience. It brought us closer together as we navigated delays and unexpected changes. In our new community, we have found wonderful neighbors who have become dear friends and are wholeheartedly supporting us in our adoption journey.

We dream of becoming parents and are eager to provide a loving, nurturing home for your child. We promise to offer them every opportunity to grow, learn, and become the best version of themselves. Our hearts are open, and we are ready to embrace the joys and challenges of parenthood.

Hello! We are Ryan and Christine. We've been together for 15 wonderful years and married for eight. Starting a family has always been our dream, and we are thrilled to be on this adoption journey. We live in Edgerton, Wisconsin, with our two dogs: Rudy, a 4-year-old terrier mix, and Rosie, a 1-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog-Shepherd mix.
Ryan works at Fabick Cat as a Service Manager, and Christine is a Section Coordinator for the State Bar of Wisconsin. In our free time, we enjoy working on home projects, trying new recipes, traveling, camping, and spending time outdoors with our dogs. We also love being with our friends and family. Our home is a cozy four-bedroom, three-bathroom house with a fenced-in yard, located in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of two city parks.
We admire your incredible strength and courage in considering adoption, and are here to support you in any way we can. We are eager to provide a loving, family-friendly, open adoption environment for your child. Our strong network of family and friends is close by, with both of our families living just 20 minutes away.
