It is officially summer here at the library!!🦕

We have so many fun things planned for this summer. Our Summer Reading Program theme is “Unearth a Story” which includes most things dinosaurs and digging.

Stop by and sign up for the summer reading program throughout June and July.

Ages 3-9: Read 600 minutes and track on our Tracking Form to turn in for a free book, a choice of 1 of 3 prize packs, a Dairy Queen token or Casey’s cookie coupon, and an entry into our grand prize raffle. The grand prize being a color your own dinosaur lamp!

Ages 10-12: Write down the titles of 2 books or 4 graphic novels you read this summer onto an entry card to earn a scratch-off prize ticket and an entry into our grand prize raffle. Plus, a free book and a Dairy Queen token or Casey’s cookie coupon for the first entry card you turn in! The grand prize being a beginners 3D printer, with some starting supplies!

Ages 13-18: Write down the titles of 2 books or 4 graphic novels you’ve read this summer to receive an entry into our grand prize raffle. Plus, a free book and a Dairy Queen token or Casey’s cookie coupon for the first entry card you turn in! The grand prize being a kindle!

We also have lots of fun things around the library:
🦖A dinosaur felt board
🦖A brand new sensory table (dinosaur themed for this summer!)
🦖A passive prize table where you have to name the dinosaur on the flash card to get your name entered into a raffle (changes every week)
🦖Coloring sheets to decorate our windows
🦖A “What’s Your Dinosaur Name?” station
🦖A scavenger hunt (whole month of June)
🦖And more!

All our events will be posted in the “Events” tab on our Facebook account! (June events are up and July will be posted by the middle of June).
