Aging and Disability Resource Center of Rock County The ADRC of Rock County helps seniors, adults with disabilities, and their families and caregivers discover resources and access funding and assistance.

The ADRC of Rock County provides information about resources and support on all aspects of life related to aging or living with a disability and is a one-stop shop for older adults, people with disabilities and their families. ADRC staff are unbiased and knowledgeable professionals who listen to your concerns, help clarify your options and direct you to appropriate resources. The ADRC is also the

access point for information about long-term care options and applying for public benefits. ADRC staff also take reports of adults who are at risk of abuse or neglect. Services provided by the ADRC are free, confidential and available to Rock County residents regardless of income or assets.

‼️7 days left to register for Mind over Matter: Healthy Bowels, Healthy Bladder has a summer session in Milton. This is an evidence-based workshop, taught by a female for females, designed to give women strategies for preventing or lessening symptoms of incontinence. This workshop is females 60+. The workshop is three sessions over five weeks.

Summer Series of Health Living with Diabetes is coming up! This workshop is for those with diabetes, pre-diabetes, or caregivers to someone with diabetes who is age 60+. Each week will focus on various topics related to mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing. Gain knowledge, share your experience, practice new skills, and help others. At a Healthy Living with Diabetes workshop, you’ll do more than learn about your condition. You’ll practice strategies, support others, and gain new tools to take better care of yourself.

Farmer Market vouchers are free for eligible seniors – vouchers are worth $25 to purchase locally grown produce at approved famers’ markets and roadside stands. Senior Farmers Market Vouchers help eligible older adults access fresh, locally grown food throughout the summer season!
✅To Qualify:
• Age 60+ (55+ if Tribal Member)
• Rock County resident
• Meet household income guidelines (185% of federal poverty level of less; 1-person household $2461 or less; 2-person household $3337 or less, etc.)

‼️Two Opportunities for Wednesday Walks this week!!‼️
Rock County residents 55+ are invited to join Wednesday Walks and are FREE! Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the walk to sign in.

☀️🚶‍♂️Join us at Three Waters Reserve in Brodhead, located on Decatur Lake. This property was once the Decatur Lake Golf Course and Country Club and has been restored to it’s natural state by the Southern Wisconsin Conservation. 🚶‍♀️☀️

📍Three Waters Reserve, N3941 Golf Course Road, Brodhead

🌕🚶‍♀️Special NIGHT Wednesday Walk at Rock River Heritage Park! This will be a flashlight free walk, since we will be checking out the bats, fireflies, listening to owls and the nightlife. Please be prepared for mosquitoes and remember your own repellant. 🌝🚶‍♂️
