Fall PST Registration is Now Open!
On Friday, October 2, 2026, the WCBVI Outreach team will be hosting the event at Mid-State Technical College in Stevens Point, WI.
Topics include:
• Department of Public Instruction (DPI) and Wisconsin Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired (WCBVI) updates
• Wisconsin Talking Book and Braille Library (WTBBL)
• APH Product Showcase: Demonstration and Hands-On Exploration
• Dynamic Learning Maps (DLM) and alternate achievement standards
The BVI Statewide Outreach Program and the American Printing House for the Blind (APH) Team in Wisconsin want to prioritize the importance of students, their families and IEP teams learning about their eye conditions. This is a vital component of the Expanded Core Curriculum (ECC), specifically the area of self-determination.
Therefore, we will provide a new APH product (My Sight) for those who register and can attend the fall PST in person, to utilize with your students who are formally registered on the APH Federal Quota. The kit will be highlighted during the PST and will be provided to participants at the end of the day prior to departure.
