Have you been wondering about how to be a Foster Parent or how you can help support Foster Parents?

We have two upcoming opportunities for you to learn more. First, we'll be at The Bodacious Brew Janesville on Friday, September 14th from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. This is great, no pressure, way to stop out, have a cup of coffee and talk about Foster Care.

Second, we have a no-cost, virtual event on Wednesday, August 19th from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Join us for a short presentation about the CPS process, children in out of home care, and requirements for becoming a Foster Parent. Text or call Tricia at 608-728-6045 to ask for a link!

Have you wondered if fostering is right for you? This is a great time to find out a little more about the process and the expectations for foster parents. We also talk about some ways you can support foster parents and foster children in the event you decide fostering isn't for you.

We are so grateful for the wonderful community partners that support our Foster Care Program!

Special shout out Bethel Church in Janesville! Their amazing youth group was able to provide some assistance to a few of our foster homes in June! These youth were described by our foster parents as hard-working, polite, and great with the "foremen" (the littles in the homes) of the jobs!!

Also, big Kudos to New Horizon Methodist Church for supporting our Resource Room with their "Make a Change" donations through the first half of the year. With the loose change and proceeds from a Chili Cook-off, held earlier in the year, they are able to stock our Resource Room with the important supplies we are so often in need of to help foster parents when they receive a new placement!!

We have a very busy week meeting you!!

There is still time to sign up for tomorrow night's Foster Care 101! Join us for this virtual event to learn more about the CPS process and the Foster Care licensing process. Call or text Tricia, 608-728-6045, leave your name and email and the link will be sent to you.

Join us at The Bodacious Brew Janesville on Friday morning starting at 9:30 a.m. for a cup of coffee. This is a laid-back opportunity for you to come and ask us some questions about Foster Care.

On Saturday, July 11th, we'll be at the Beloit Farmers Market. Come grab some swag and ask how you can support the Foster Care program!

Announcing our next opportunity to learn more about Foster Care! Join us for an informal overview of CPS, trauma and the children we work with, and the licensing process. There will be plenty of time for Questions and Answers at the end of our overview.
