We care for their everyday needs and are actively involved in the community. We are so grateful for the support around us. ACES Youth Home received their first children in March, 2014 and are able to accommodate 8 youth ages 12-18, providing short and long-term placement, based on the needs of each child. Their goal is to give abused and neglected children a safe and secure environment. Aside from providing basic needs such as food, shelter, and clothing, ACES works to ensure that the children’s medical, dental, therapeutic, and social needs are met. In addition, ACES has programs designed to benefit the children, such as mentors, tutors, life skills, etc. ACES funding is partially provided by the Georgia Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS), but they rely on the generosity and financial support of the community to meet the rest of their needs.
