We would like to invite our parents/guardians to join us for Academic Night on Tuesday, September 8th from 5:30 - 6:30. During this time, our grade level teachers will lead parents through a series of three workshops in which we cover the topics of Reading, Math, and Classroom Data (iReady, ACAP, etc.).

Do the following statements sound familiar as a parent? "I do not know how to help my student with homework!", "They do not teach math today like they did when I was in school!", "I have no idea what iReady data is!"

If you have ever made those statements as a parent, this night is for you. We would like to meet with you and explain how reading and math are taught at our school. We would like to explain how to interpret the data that you receive from our school so you know what it means for your student. Hopefully, this night will allow us to partner with you for a more successful educational experience with your student.

🎨It's time for our annual Yearbook Cover Art contest! All entries are due by September 15th!

Be sure you follow the guidelines:
1. Your art follows the theme (Red, White, & Blue, and Viking Gold too!)
2. Somewhere on your art you have the year (2026-2027)
& the name of our school (Maddox OR Maddox Intermediate School)
3. Your art is on plain white paper (no lines)
4. Your name is on the back of your art in pencil!
