This morning Chief Dick and Sergeants Duncan and Knies were out at Cool Springs in Velpen taking part in the Honor and Remember Run

This event is a great way to come together as a community to honor the men and women of our military and first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice, and to remember the families and loved ones they left behind.

We’re proud to have a few of our officers out there running in their honor.

2026 Jasper Strassenfest is in the books!

It might have been a bit warmer than last year, but our officers had a great time being out in the crowd—chatting with fest goers and working behind the scenes to keep the celebration safe for everyone.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out, volunteers, and all of our fellow public safety partners who helped make this year’s Strassenfest another smooth and successful event.

Yesterday, Detectives Brescher and Greener got to spend the morning with the kids at Kamp 4 Kids during the 3rd Annual Donuts with Detectives, hosted by the Jasper Park and Recreation Department

The fun got even better with a surprise visit from K9 Gator and K9 Officer J. Chambers

Today we were happy to host kiddos from Kid City USA - Jasper at the Jasper Police Department!

The kids got an inside look at our Communications Center, got to talk to officers and detectives, and even watched a drone demonstration. After that, they got a tour of the Jasper Fire Department and got to check out the fire trucks and equipment.

We always enjoy the chance to talk with the kids about what we do and share how teamwork and technology help keep our community safe.
