Today, we honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and remember the 343 firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to others. Their courage, selflessness, and devotion will never be forgotten.

Tonight, firefighters with Bethany Salem worked on interior structure fire drills. Firefighters practiced deploying attack lines from the engine, properly "flaking them out" to prepare for entry, then practiced advancing hose lines to the seat of the fire. Firefighters drilled on fighting fires on the same level of the structure, fires upstairs, and fires downstairs from the entry point.

🇺🇸 Happy 4th of July, everyone! As we celebrate the 250th birthday of the greatest country on Earth with family, friends, and fireworks, let's take a moment to remember the brave men and women who sacrificed everything to give us the freedom we enjoy. This country is great because of them — and because of the countless others throughout history who stood up, served, and gave their all so future generations could thrive. Grateful to be part of this community and this nation. Have a safe and wonderful Independence Day! 🎆
