A proposed development of eight quadplex, multi-family structures next to a quiet, established neighborhood of much larger homes and lots has received initial approval from the City.

TOO MUCH sewage! TOO MUCH traffic! TOO MUCH concrete leading to EVEN MORE FLOODING! NO PLANNING! The sewage line at the end of W 33rd Street was blowing toilet paper (used toilet paper) multiple times this week. What is the point of a Planning Commission when they fail to make any actual plans while allowing uncontrolled development?

This sewage problem has been occurring each year for over 20 years yet the City allows over-development without investing in infrastructure. The city cannot handle more people and especially not multi-family structures making the developer as much money as possible while everyone already in Jasper suffers from the unresolved problems already existing! A 5-year-old could comprehend this.

The Reyling Drive Quadplex disaster will be heard before the Jasper Common Council this Wednesday, June 19 at 7:00 PM. Contact your Council members ASAP to voice your opposition. All contact details are still at www.BadForJasper.com.

This is a slap in the face to surrounding homeowners. Developments do not begin with large, single-family homes and then illogically downscale to quadplexes. Currently, there is a systematic progression which will be destroyed in a very nonsensical manner by adding 32 quadplexes into The Legends at Autumn Creek. If there were to be quadplexes or more two-car garage duplexes, they should have been built first and then followed by larger, single-family homes.

STOP the uncontrolled development on Reyling Drive! The City of Jasper, by its own regulations, MUST

"Protect the character and stability of residential, institutional, business, industrial, and natural areas;"

The proposed quadplex housing structures will DESTROY the character and stability of this residential area, as well as have drastic negative effects upon the existing natural area.

It seems Jasper officials are allowing uncontrolled development to appease the land developer while not properly considering the affected adjacent landowners and community.
